    Good for summer, bad for winter I purchased my 2010 Kia Forte from a dealer with brand new tires in October of 2011. The 1 tire came with a “run” which is a defect that was not caught until after I drove the car for 2 months. I live in upstate NY. These tires are not very good in the minimalist of snow accumulation in the winter months. In the spring usage, these tires are good in the wet and dry temperatures. Even though the price is good, pass onto a better overall tire. April 15, 2012
    Not for rear-drive cars I put a set of Nexon N5000 on my mint 1987 Volvo 240DL sedan based on the reviews for traction, handling, ride & quietness. Bad choice. On this car the tires ride rough, are very noisy, and wander. The dry and wet traction is outstanding. The previous tires were Winston Classic (no longer made) and were outstanding in all areas. Non-directional tread pattern. I sold the N5000's and replaced them with Toyo Extensa A/S. WOW! Perfect in all areas! They're keepers! One possible conclusion is that the N5000 (directional tread) were engineered for front-drive cars, and rear-drive cars prefer non-directional (Extensa A/S). At least on the Volvo 240. March 23, 2012

    For the most part, these tires are quiet but it all depends on your tire size since certain lower profile sizes are not as quiet as a regular profile tire.
