- Nitto - NT-SN2 Winter
Developed for the Driver that Demands Superior Traction. The Nitto SN2 uses an advanced Silica compound that evacuates water and resists hardening at lower temperatures which helps to maintain excellent traction in wet, ice, and slush situations. The tread design provides better handling on dry and wet roads as well as more grip on ice and snow-covered roads. The construction of the SN2 utilizes materials that maximize cornering response and stability under all conditions.

Outstanding tire
Excellent tire, specially on snow. Powder handles pretty good but on a packed snow surface it does behave like it's on tarmac. Just a little slippery on pure ice but , that's expected i guess.
Pretty smooth ride on dry/wet roads and fairly quiet too. (Consider I drive a Subaru Outback)
I've had them for just over 10k and so far the threadwear seems to be not bad at all. They are on the softer side so tire rotation is a must.
Not planning on driving it year round but, I would definitely buy this tire again for the winters in Colorado.

AMAZING
These tires have put my confidence back in winter driving, I love them! The car drives amazing. This is one of the best purchases I have ever made...Totally worth it! I would have been in the ditch if I didn't have these tires.

Great tires
Not a lot of snow this winter but definitely enough to make things slippery out there. These tires have been great, the brand wasn't a familiar name to me but i must say i haven't regretted buying these at all. Tirebuyer is great, i ordered these tires later in the day and i couldn't believe it when my wife called to let me know they were dropped off the very next day!!!!!!!!

I bought these tires for the winter and was wondering if I can use them in the summer too?? Or will the heat here in ohio bother them?

Answer:
You can run them in the summer, but you shouldn't. Winter tires have a very soft rubber compound designed to remain soft in winter temps. In the summer heat, they will wear very rapidly. You should remove your winter tires in the early spring as soon as you feel most of your bad winter weather is past.3 months ago
