A good tire for off-roading For what we will use it for it will be a great tire. It is actually for me as a parent, whose kids like to go mudding, to go help get them out. January 23, 2012
awesome tires i have a set of 35/12.50/20's and they are an awesome tire offroad.i've been in the mud with them a couple times as well as snow and they compare to the super swampers.but boy are they loud on the road.a very comfortable smooth ride on the highway but a little to loud for my taste.i had some mickey thompson mtz's before these tires and they road horrible on the highway but not quite as loud or as capable offroad.so if your looking for a good offroad or hunting tire this is it but if you stay on the pavement most of the time, you may want to consider something less noisy unless that is just what you like. very happy with my service My shippment was received very very quickly I was very satisfied December 20, 2011
Great Tires Purchased tires recently due to upcoming winter, was kind of iffy about if i need such an aggressive mud terrain. Very pleased by all aspects of the tire, and makes my Ford F350 look great! I will definitely be buying them again. November 23, 2011

    Answer:
The factory tire size of 285/70R17 measures out at 32.7 inches tall and 11.2 inches wide. I hope this answers your question. Here's the approved rim width for these sizes:

    Approved Rim Width for 285/70R17: 7.5 - 11.5
    Approved Rim Width for 33x12.5R17: 8.5 - 11.0
