American West Tire started in 1981, and the owners are from the Atascadero area. We became a member of the Tire Pro family in 1990, giving us a National Warranty, as well as current training. We are one of the best equipped shops in San Luis Obispo County for Tires, Brakes, and Front-End work. We are the only shop in the county with a Hunter Brake and Suspension Tester. We use the GSP9700 Road Force Balancer and the newest European Rim Clamp Tire Changer for accuracy. We also do 4-Wheel Computer Alignment.

All vehicles after Sept. 2007 have TPMS. Regulations may require TPMS sensors to be rebuilt and/or re-calibrated. There may be an additional charge at the dealer to service TPMS sensors.
