Studless Ice & Snow

$93.99 - $254.99 each

The Bridgestone Blizzak WS70 tire is built with a silica-enhanced tread compound that stays flexible, providing excellent grip whether you’re driving in snow, slush, ice, or just in very cold temperatures. Multicell® compound improves wet traction, helps prevent hydroplaning, and improves cold-weather braking, thanks to tiny bubbles that act like a sponge, dispersing the layer of water that often covers icy road surfaces.

  • UNI-T Technology improves handling, treadlife, and performance
  • NanoPro-Tech and RC Polymer for optimal performance on snow and ice
  • 3-D sipes add a multitude of biting edges for better grip in snowy or icy conditions
  • Optimized tread width improves snow and ice performance
  • Four main deep grooves efficiently channel away water, slush, and snow
  • New Multicell® compound wicks away water for better snow, ice, and wet performance
  • Tread depth indicator alerts you when the tire is nearing the end of its treadlife
  • Tread Life Warranty: Varies based on speed rating
  • Uniformity Warranty: First 1/32 Even Wear, 2 Tires Permitted
  • Workmanship Material Warranty: 72 Month 4yr Free 2yr Prorated
  • Manufacture's Hazard Warranty:

Rated 5 out of 5by Alaska winter tires Bought these after numerous recommendations from people living in interior Alaska. Phenomenal tire that has already allowed me to drive safely on heavy ice, wet snow, dry snow, and a snow on top of ice mix this season around Fairbanks, AK. After never living farther north than Colorado Springs, these tires have completely changed the safety level of driving in winter conditions for my family and I. October 26, 2014
Rated 4 out of 5by Bring back uni-directional tread I have been using blizzaks every winter since 1995 on all family vehicles from small cars to 4wd pickups. The improved traction over new all season tires is amazing, and the traction does not degrade with wear like all season tire. I live in a west michigan snow belt so they do get put to good use. I have not used these WS70 in winter conditions yet, but I expect they will be nearly as good as the others. I do not understand the need for the directional tread as the stopping traction is as important, if not more so, than forward traction in the winter. In my experience, directional tread tire wear faster due to inability to rotate effectively which then leads to wear patterns that cause more road noise and shorter life. Bridgestone, please bring back uni-directional tires such as WS50. I am also not pleased that tire buyer sent me tires that were more than two years old. I paid 2013 prices for 2011 tires. Rated 4 out of 5by Good quality tires. I have not had a chance to use this tires in snow yet, but I am very pleased with the look and ride quality for snow tires. I purchased 4 Blizzak WS70, which I understand is the way to go with snow tires. Even my mechanic was impressed with these tires. Also, Tirebuyer's service was excellent. Each tire came in a separate box via ups. November 26, 2010
Rated 4 out of 5by Great snow tire. I live in snow country (Northern Wisconsin) and live three miles off the paved roads. I own a 4X4 truck for emergency but the van is our main method of traveling to work each day and also pleasure travel. The Bridgestone Blizzak WS70 tires performed very well both in deep snow and on slick ice all last winter. The tires also ran smoothly on dry pavement at high speeds. I put between 15 & 20 thousand miles on the tires and just put on a new set for this winter. They wear faster than regular tires but the traction on ice and snow is well worth the money. Rated 4 out of 5by Good Snow Tires for the Colorado Rockies Having only run studded snow tires in the past, I was somewhat skeptical on the snow / ice performance of these studless Blizzak tires. For the first few weeks of driving we had only snowless roadless during an unseasonably warm spell. The Blizzak's were floaty and less responsive then the all seasons we run during the summer months. But once the snow and ice finally came, the Blizzaks truely shined. The stopping traction on hardpacked snow and ice was great and equal to the old studded tires. The Blizzaks were much quieter and will hopefully hold up longer then the studded tires. Overall these are a great snow tire for hard packed snow, fresh snow, and ice. They are floaty at highway speeds on dry roads and squishy in turns, but this goes with the territory of all snow tires. January 6, 2011
Rated 5 out of 5by Senior Tire Tester This is an outstanding tire, the best snow tire I have ever driven on. I've driven on Hakka Pellittas, Yokohama Guardex, and Nordman tires but no others can compare to Blizzaks! I now have them on my Subaru, my wife's Honda Odyssey, and my GMC Yukon XL 2500. Be warned that after driving on Blizzaks you will be spoiled, all other snow tires will be compared to them. I noticed immediately how quiet they are as well as how much grip they have. Just be sure to get them off before the temperatures get too high! March 4, 2013
Rated 5 out of 5by Good tires for the $'s These tires have good snow and ice traction but not as good as the Vederstines that I had previously. The "stud-less ice and snow" type tires only have about the first 1/3 of their tread using the sticky ice compound. After that they are a all weather type tire. The Vederstines were so good with ice and snow traction that you could hardly tell the road was slick. You had to be careful with this wonderful traction because you could get complacent about the road conditions and wind up driving over your head. February 14, 2012
Rated 5 out of 5by Blizzack!!!!! I have ordered with free shipping and fast delivery. While awaiting for the arrival, I researched it and some said it noisy, but so far I have driven on it for about 500 thousand miles on it and experienced total different story of what some people wrote that they are noisy tires. I have driven on Continental tires, Goodyear Ultra Grip, Firestone Tires, and Michillen Tires. I have noticed that the steering became responsively better and smoother, tracking is perfect, noise was almost none...couldn't even hear any tire and paving contact and traction is excellent haven't feel any hydroplaning at 70's during heavy rain. It is and excellent, similar to Michellen.. October 13, 2013
