Rated 4.3 out of 5by 97reviewers.
Rated 5 out of 5 So Far a GREAT TIRE! Bought these for my 08 Expedition 4WD after reading some reviews and I was a little hesitant but they have been a great tire. I traveled up to northern Idaho the beginning of Dec and we had winter driving conditions as well as rain once we hit Utah. Spent some time driving around northern Idaho with as much as 8" of snow on the ground the tired performed very well using just the 2wd mode. On ice the tires performed very well as long as you drove with some intelligence. In rain they performed flawless and even when hitting standing water they would not jerk the vehicle one way or the other. On dry roads they also performed very well, Provided much better handling then the Pirelli's that came off the truck.I was a little concerned at first due to the amount of weight the tires need to balance but they are riding very smooth and do not notice any vibration. Not much feedback on the mileage yet as I only have about 4K miles on them. December 29, 2012
Rated 1 out of 5by Severe Vibration problem On the way home after having a complete set installed, one tire blew out; the rim bead had separated from the sidewall. Purchased a brand-new wheel and the dealer got a new tire. After having the tires balanced twice, I was still feeling severe vibrations on the highway - shaking the entire vehicle above 60 MPH. The second place I had the tires rebalanced at noted that three of the five tires are out-of-round. With an out-of-round tire, when you put more air pressure in them it will enhance the vibration because there is less sidewall flexibility to absorb the inherent vibration due to the out-of-roundness. The tires are rated at 44 PSI and I usually like to run such tires at around 40 PSI, however the only way I could reduce the vibrations, due to the out-of-roundness, was by reducing the air pressure to the minimum vehicle recommended pressure of 32 PSI. The tires have incredible grip and are very quiet. But I cannot recommend them when 3 of 5 tires are so out-of-round that they cause such severe and dangerous vibrations, and one tire blew out; this indicates poor quality control. Despite their excellent handling characteristics, I will be contacting the dealer and see if I can replace them, I am sorely disappointed. This was an expensive lesson to learn. August 26, 2012
Rated 2 out of 5 Mixed feelings. I bought a set of four of these tires and installed them on a 2012 RAM 1500. In the four weeks since installing the tires, I have had the wheels/tires rebalanced three times due to a vibration issue. In each case, the vibration has remained unchanged. I have noticed some flat spots when the tires are cold. But after an hour of driving, I still have a vibration that feels like the tires are out of balance.Otherwise, I like the tires and I have notice about a 1.5 MPG increase in fuel economy since using these tires. But, the increase in fuel economy just doesn't outweigh the vibration issues. I have now gone back to the tire dealer for help / replacement. June 13, 2012
Rated 3 out of 5by Another "Vibration" Problem I loved this tire(s) when they we're first put on my Buick Enclave 7800 miles ago, but today I'm back in the shop getting them rebalanced for the third time for a very annoying vibration problem that has taken some of the fun out of driving. After reading the other reviews, it looks like I'm not alone. At least my dealer has narrowed it down to just one tire (he thinks) that seems to be the problem. No matter where this tire is on the vehicle, the vibration seems to follow. It will be interesting to see how Continential handles this. It also seems like this could be a trend and I would not recommend this tire at this time July 23, 2012
Rated 1 out of 5by Poor Tire - should be 0 stars Purchased theses tires for 2009 Chevy Traverse that had over 60,000 miles on original Goodyear Forteras. Immediately (less than 50 miles) had problem with terrible vibration and shimy. Returned them to the dealer and had them rebalanced, lasted 3 days. Dealer roadforce tested all four, one failed. Dealer ordered a replacement tire however ride never smoothed out -- not what I would expect from 4 brand new tires, the OEMs ran better after 60000 miles! Took them back to the dealer - they took them back and now have Goodyear Assurance Tripletread CS. No vibration, no shimy after 2,000 miles. Cannot recommend LX20s. June 4, 2012
Rated 1 out of 5by Tires Vibrate from day one Bought the tires due to the great reviews for traction. Tires vibrated after initial install. Brought the tires back twice to get balanced. Paid for a different garage to do a road force balance since the place where I bought the tires said that the tires were fine. Still have vibration and all 4 tires failed the road force balance. Now I have to work with orginal shop to get a new pair showing them the proof with the road force balance. Continental needs to fix these issues as many people seem to be having the same problem. Rated 3 out of 5by Not Happy I'm on my second set of these tires. The first set immediately had a vibration. The dealer replaced all 4 and it still vibrates. The truck has never hada vibration before these were put on.I'm switching to the ContiTrac TR.So far Continental has been willing to work with me on this.I really like the tire otherwise, its quiet and good traction and ride. I just wish they would not vibrate. They also seem to get a flat spot if they set for any length of time. It does come out of that after 10 miles or so. July 2, 2012
Rated 5 out of 5by Amazed so far with the LX20 I put these on my 2007 Chevy Avalanche and so far they actually live up to the hype. The only thing in question now is the longevity; if they last the 70K miles I will never buy another tire. I have 167000 miles on my truck and have tried Goodyears, Bridgestones Duelers, and Michelin M/S2 and so far they feel better and are quieter than any of the other tires. So if I can get performance on par or better then the Michelins with the same mileage and a lower price point I will be really satisfied. January 9, 2012

TIREBUYER CUSTOMER REVIEWS

So far so good....

I ordered these tires online from TireBuyer.com and they were delivered overnight. Great customer service. As far as the tires go, I have had them installed for about 3 weeks now and so far so good.
