The Michelin Latitude Tour tire is an all-season touring tire with a touch of green. Built with a special tread compound that lowers the tire’s rolling resistance, the Latitude Tour can save you up to 82 gallons of fuel over the life of the tire. And you don’t sacrifice anything for fuel savings either -- you’ll also get long treadlife, great performance in dry and wet conditions, and the plush, quiet ride you want from a touring tire.

  • Silica-based tread compound and 2D siping deliver excellent handling and braking power in wet conditions
  • Wide circumferential grooves help prevent hydroplaning
  • Tread compound reduces rolling resistance for fuel efficiency
  • Comfort Control Technology™ computer-optimized design reduces vibrations and road noise
  • MaxTouch Construction™ distributes forces of acceleration, cornering, and braking for longer wear
  • Nylon inner wrap provides high-speed durability
  • Belt edge cushion enhances driving comfort
  • Michelin GREEN X™ marking guarantees a level of energy efficiency that’s among the best in the market and reduced CO2 emissions
  • Tread Life Warranty: Varies based on speed rating
  • Uniformity Warranty: First 25% Even Wear, 1 Tire Permitted
  • Workmanship Material Warranty: 72 month first 25% Free Replacment
  • Manufacture's Hazard Warranty:

Rated 4 out of 5by A good tire---but! I purchased the Latitude Tour, based on dealer recommendations, for a 2006 Tahoe Z71 that is used on a variety of roads, i.e. expressway, state roads, gravel, etc.. The Latitude Tours replaced a set of Michelin LTX tires with 83,000 miles on them, and an average residual of 4/32 of tread left on all four tires. The Latitude Tours currently have 46,000 plus miles on them and I should get another 20,000 miles without any problems. They ride good, they are quite, give good traction in the wet weather and snow, and I believe they are doing what they were engineered for. However, when I need a new set of tires, I will go back to the Michelin LTX tires. My discontent with the Latitude Tour is that when turning sharply in the Tahoe, in a parking lot or parking deck, you can feel the sidewalls roll over and slide. The Tahoe, with 4 wheel drive, is a heavy vehicle, and needs a tire with a stiffer sidewall. The Latitude Tour is designed for a lighter SUV or Crossover to provide a smooth ride. I will still recommend the tire, but subject to the application. March 30, 2014
Rated 5 out of 5by Longest Wear of Any Tire I've Ever Owned After 96,000+ miles, I am still riding on the original tires (235R70-16) that came on my 2010 Ford Escape 4WD! I expect 40,000 miles out of any good set of tires, and am pleased when I can go 50,000 miles or more. But, I will easily see 100,000 miles and will still have some wear remaining before any of the wear bars show... unbelievable! Contributing to the phenomenal wear I am experiencing on this set is the fact that most of these miles are interstate highway miles. This means very little stopping and turning compared to city driving. The tires have been rotated at least every 10,000 miles. I had the alignment checked once at about 50,000 miles and it was spot-on. I also had the tires rebalanced then, but only one of the four even needed any adjustment. My only disappointment is that they have gotten a bit noisier at highway speeds over the past 20,000 miles or so, but they still ride and handle great in all road conditions. I put my first set of Michelins on a 1973 Super Beetle back in the mid-70's, and they have been my preferred tire brand ever since! August 12, 2013
Rated 5 out of 5 I would buy this product again and again I normally don't take the time to write a review about anything, but since I have received such good tire wear and performance from these tires I felt the need to do so. My Michelin's came with my Escape (2009) so I didn't initially choose them myself, but I know that I couldn't have received a better tire for wear and performance. I have just choosen to replace my tires and they presently have 115,000 miles on them. the dealer told me I could get another 10,000 out of them if I wanted to but I said they had been great tires and I had gotten my money's worth from them. I of course are replacing them with the same tire. I would recommend these tires for anyone seeking a dependable tire for wear and performance. June 3, 2014
Rated 5 out of 5 My Michelins I am an avid Michelin buyer/user and very recently updated my Volvo XC90 with new Michelins. I have two SUV's and both serve as morning and afternoon school buses to our two daughters that we transport to and from school daily. In Northern New Mexico we experience all four seasons every year - high packing snow in the winter to 100 degree days in the summer. This particular summer has been very wet and the tires have performed without pause. Over the course of the last 12-months, my daily travel has included winding mountain roads both uphill and downhill, wet and dry. The grip and handling has been great and I feel comfortable behind the wheel as does my wife as she transports our most valued cargo - our two beautiful daughters. I have been offered other deals on other brand names, but I have yet to be open to the prospect of trusting another name given my experience with Michelin. Thank you Michelin for taking me and my family through the roads of life. Through wind, rain or snow...no matter the condition, I am confident driving with Michelin tires on our vehicles. Rated 5 out of 5by Good choice for Chevy as OEM I just changed the Michelin Latitude Touring tire out at almost 48,000 miles. I could have went another 4 or 5 thousand but with the promo sale I opted to go ahead and replace them. I do a lot of interstate driving as well as secondary road driving so I spend quiet a bit of time on the road. With the N.C. back roads the tires take a beating but the Michelin prove to soften the ride. I have owned more than 8 vehicles and since I have owned a couple vehicles with Michelin's, if I can help it I will always go with them as my first choice. They may cost more but they last twice as longer and give a great added performance, handling and comfortable ride that is worth it. They have proved the added research and technology is the best in the industry. I replaced the Latitude with a set of Michelin Defenders because of the warranty being so high and just within the 30 miles home from the shop...I like them already. May 25, 2013
Rated 3 out of 5by Please bring back the Cross Terrain - Historically, I have purchased 3 sets of Cross Terrains. I was hoping that the Lattitude Tour would be equal to or slightly better than the Cross Terrains. New rubber, design, etc. While waiting for Lattitude Tours (265/75/16) to fit my truck I was invited by the tire store to demo Lattitude Tour HP and Mud and Snows. The Tour HP's were, in my opinion, not as good as the Mud & Snows in snow conditions (northern Michigan). The Mud & Snows were not as good as the Lattitude Tours. The Cross Terrains were noticably better than Lattitude Tours. All of the aforementioned tires were used on the same vehicle. Apples to apples. I will have to purchase another set of tires to get through this winter. I wish that the Cross Terrains were still being made. I am a loyal Michelin customer. I can back up my claims with receipts all historical purchases of Michelin tires. Thank you for requesting feedback from a customer. September 5, 2012
Rated 1 out of 5by Not A Good Story These are sorry tires. Been buying Michelins since 1965. Had two sets of Cross Terrain on this car and they were smooth as silk. The Latitudes were horrible at highway speeds. Dealer put another set on and the same horrible ride. Do not buy these tires. Next I will try the LTX M/S. The size is 245-65/R17. June 26, 2014
Rated 5 out of 5by Best tires in the world The tires were the best tires I ever bought. It made the greatest difference on the new truck I just bought. I was driving my Dodge Nitro for about 5-6 months ( I drove @ 80 miles a day) and decided on trying out the Michellin tires. I heard through many different sources and many years that Michelin tires were great. So I bought my first set - I was 46 yrs old. I shouldn't have waited so long ! The tires made my truck feel more stable and easier to steer. The road noise was significantly reduced. I was so impressed I went home and told my husband and bought him a set the next day. He also had the same experience. We are now hooked on Michelin. We will never buy I different tire ever again. And while I'm expressing my satisfaction I'd like to say one more thing. The tire mtc/guaranty really works. I had a piece of steel in the tire and they replaced the tire free - no hassles. August 14, 2013

So far so good....

I ordered these tires online from TireBuyer.com and they were delivered overnight. Great customer service. As far as the tires go, I have had them installed for about 3 weeks now and so far so good.
