Fit my vehicle

The Michelin Latitude Tour tire is an all-season touring tire with a touch of green. Built with a special tread compound that lowers the tire’s rolling resistance, the Latitude Tour can save you up to 82 gallons of fuel over the life of the tire. And you don’t sacrifice anything for fuel savings either -- you’ll also get long treadlife, great performance in dry and wet conditions, and the plush, quiet ride you want from a touring tire.

  • Silica-based tread compound and 2D siping deliver excellent handling and braking power in wet conditions
  • Wide circumferential grooves help prevent hydroplaning
  • Tread compound reduces rolling resistance for fuel efficiency
  • Comfort Control Technology™ computer-optimized design reduces vibrations and road noise
  • MaxTouch Construction™ distributes forces of acceleration, cornering, and braking for longer wear
  • Nylon inner wrap provides high-speed durability
  • Belt edge cushion enhances driving comfort
  • Michelin GREEN X™ marking guarantees a level of energy efficiency that’s among the best in the market and reduced CO2 emissions
  • Tread Life Warranty: Varies based on speed rating
  • Uniformity Warranty: First 25% Even Wear, 1 Tire Permitted
  • Workmanship Material Warranty: 72 month first 25% Free Replacment
  • Manufacture's Hazard Warranty:
  • Test Drive Warranty: 30 Day Ride and Try
  • Manufacture's Special Warranty: For a "Staggered Fitment" application (different size tires on the front and rear axles) the rear tires will only be warrantable for one half of the stated mileage for that tire line.

Rated 4 out of 5by A good tire---but! I purchased the Latitude Tour, based on dealer recommendations, for a 2006 Tahoe Z71 that is used on a variety of roads, i.e. expressway, state roads, gravel, etc.. The Latitude Tours replaced a set of Michelin LTX tires with 83,000 miles on them, and an average residual of 4/32 of tread left on all four tires. The Latitude Tours currently have 46,000 plus miles on them and I should get another 20,000 miles without any problems. They ride good, they are quite, give good traction in the wet weather and snow, and I believe they are doing what they were engineered for. However, when I need a new set of tires, I will go back to the Michelin LTX tires. My discontent with the Latitude Tour is that when turning sharply in the Tahoe, in a parking lot or parking deck, you can feel the sidewalls roll over and slide. The Tahoe, with 4 wheel drive, is a heavy vehicle, and needs a tire with a stiffer sidewall. The Latitude Tour is designed for a lighter SUV or Crossover to provide a smooth ride. I will still recommend the tire, but subject to the application. March 30, 2014
Rated 5 out of 5 I would buy this product again and again I normally don't take the time to write a review about anything, but since I have received such good tire wear and performance from these tires I felt the need to do so. My Michelin's came with my Escape (2009) so I didn't initially choose them myself, but I know that I couldn't have received a better tire for wear and performance. I have just choosen to replace my tires and they presently have 115,000 miles on them. the dealer told me I could get another 10,000 out of them if I wanted to but I said they had been great tires and I had gotten my money's worth from them. I of course are replacing them with the same tire. I would recommend these tires for anyone seeking a dependable tire for wear and performance. June 3, 2014
Rated 1 out of 5by Not A Good Story These are sorry tires. Been buying Michelins since 1965. Had two sets of Cross Terrain on this car and they were smooth as silk. The Latitudes were horrible at highway speeds. Dealer put another set on and the same horrible ride. Do not buy these tires. Next I will try the LTX M/S. The size is 245-65/R17. June 26, 2014
Rated 1 out of 5by Stone Magnets I recently replaced my OEM Hankook radials with these Michelin Latitude Tour and gotta say these are the worst tires I ever owned. First, they cannot seem to get them balanced. Been back twice and the car still shakes above 50 mph. Second, the tread picks up massive amts of small stones and glass pieces. Every day or so I have to go out on my hands and knees to remove about 200 stones from the treads. I did this today and within 3 blocks it started clacking again. In about a day, you can barely hear the radio with the windows down and going above 40 mph. Sounds like I'm driving with 4 flat tires. Never had a tire do this before. Big mistake buying these tires. Do yourself a favor and look at another brand/line. June 16, 2014
Rated 5 out of 5by KEEPS ON KEEPIN' ON I had 78,000 miles on these things and a lot more to go but I thought it was best for me to change now as I have a long mile summer planned. The offer now is to good to turn down. These have performed top shelf so I just bought the exact same ones for the same car, 2010 Ford Escape. You will not be sorry with these. I do not write a lot of reviews but I had to on this one. June 10, 2014
Rated 5 out of 5 Amazing 94,200 Mile Tires! After almost 6 years of driving on my original Latitude tires (even with tread remaining), I decided to replace them at 94,200 miles. I look forward to seeing how far my new LTX M/S2 tires will take me. Simply said, Michelin makes great tires! June 12, 2014
Rated 5 out of 5by Repeat Purchaser 2005 Acura MDX put Michelin Cross Terrains on at 30,000 and remained in service up 105,000. Replaced with the Latitude Tours which essentially replaced the Cross Terrains, first few thousands miles have again demonstrated an excellent quality tire in all performance categories. I appreciate purchasing tires and knowing they will remain in service for a number or years and miles. I am convinced June 5, 2014
Rated 5 out of 5by Longest Wear of Any Tire I've Ever Owned After 96,000+ miles, I am still riding on the original tires (235R70-16) that came on my 2010 Ford Escape 4WD! I expect 40,000 miles out of any good set of tires, and am pleased when I can go 50,000 miles or more. But, I will easily see 100,000 miles and will still have some wear remaining before any of the wear bars show... unbelievable! Contributing to the phenomenal wear I am experiencing on this set is the fact that most of these miles are interstate highway miles. This means very little stopping and turning compared to city driving. The tires have been rotated at least every 10,000 miles. I had the alignment checked once at about 50,000 miles and it was spot-on. I also had the tires rebalanced then, but only one of the four even needed any adjustment. My only disappointment is that they have gotten a bit noisier at highway speeds over the past 20,000 miles or so, but they still ride and handle great in all road conditions. I put my first set of Michelins on a 1973 Super Beetle back in the mid-70's, and they have been my preferred tire brand ever since! August 12, 2013

So far so good....

I ordered these tires online from TireBuyer.com and they were delivered overnight. Great customer service. As far as the tires go, I have had them installed for about 3 weeks now and so far so good.
