Rated 5 out of 5 by Justin M Excellent All Around Tire - Amazing Tread Life Well, I've run this tire on my 2007 LR3 for 90,000miles. I have been debating and researching switching to the A/T2 based on the retail price difference. However, with that kind of real world testing on the M/S2, I'm going to stick with it for another 90k. Obviously the tread life was exceptional. They also run quiet and performed well in the mountains of Colorado in both snow and wet conditions. June 27, 2015
Rated 5 out of 5 by Halfhowl Night and day difference! For the past several years I've been driving a used vehicle that came with a competitor's tires on it. They were loud, and replaced two at a time by the previous owners.During long trips they would cause the vehicle to shake, and made me think that I needed to have components replaced.I spent a little extra to purchase the M/S-2's and I'm glad I did. They have taken the shake, the noise and almost all other issues and made them disappear. Even on a six-hour trip, the only time I heard any noise from them was then I traveled over grooved pavement, and when I returned to smooth road, gone. June 16, 2015
Rated 5 out of 5 Great Tires I am very satisfied with my tire purchase. Great ride and competitively priced. I replaced my original factory Michelin tires that lasted just over 80,000 miles. I will pick Michelin again when it is time to get new tires. June 26, 2015
Rated 5 out of 5 by Big Tom My opinion is that Michelin Tires are the BEST! I've been using Michelin Tires since 1972, and I have a set of LTX M/S2 on my Bronco, and now I'm getting ready to buy a set for my Explorer. I'm 100% sure that Michelin won't let me down on this set either. Michelin Tires are the BEST! Try them, you'll be glad you did. June 20, 2015
Rated 5 out of 5 by vyperkd AWESOME TIRES These have been the absolute best tires I have ever owned. I went through a severe thunder storm and these tires had over 81k plus miles on them and they tracked perfectly,65-70mph, my truck never once lost contact with the road...NEVER!I am sold out for these tires. I just (the next day) purchased another set, which I debated due to just going through that storm the day before. Anyone looking for a really good set of tires...The Michelin LTX M/S2 hands down worth every penny. June 12, 2015
Rated 2 out of 5 by Ziggy Also disappointed I bought a set of these tires about a year ago. They claimed this new series was far better than the previous generation. The tread wear is way over rated. I doubt this set will see the 60000 miles the previous set of LTX tires saw. Lost me as a customer. June 16, 2015
Rated 5 out of 5 by Rainbow These tires check all the boxes I know little about vehicle servicing and even less about tires. When told on a routine service that I would need new tires before my upcoming inspection, I turned to the online sites I've come to respect for no-nonsense advice for people like me. I found that Michelin were highly rated by both experts and purchasers. I then learned that the OEM tires for my particular vehicle were Michelin (not what was on the vehicle by the time I purchased it). And finally I learned that, contrary to expectation, Michelin were reasonably priced. I found Michelins that fit my vehicle and matched my driving habits/weather: the LTX M/S2. I then read online reviews about this particular tire. Confident, I bought them. I've now been driving on them for four months and can honestly say that I notice the difference in the sound and handling of the vehicle (especially in the rain). I would highly recommend these tires to anyone who's looking to check all the boxes of quality, performance and affordability. August 31, 2013
Rated 5 out of 5 by Holzie LTX M/S2's are superb tires Michelin is the only tire is use on my vehicles. The LTX M/S2's I have on my 2007 Chevy Silverado Classic. I removed the OEM tires in less than 350 miles, replaced them Michelin's, and I haven't looked back. The wear, performance, value, quiet ride, traction, and dependability are something I have come to expect from Michelin tires. Today, when it costs so much to buy a car, why would you want to take chance and ruin it by purchasing cheap tires? Certainly not me! I am always amazed when people spend so much money on purchasing a vehicle yet want buy the cheapest tires possible as I have seen the havoc that poor tires can cause. I am on my second set of LTX's for my truck now and know that I can count on them to perform exactly as my first set. Living in snow country on a mountainside I never worry about these tires failing me which is most comforting. And, if any reason, an issue should arise, I know Michelin stands 100% behind every tire they manufacture. To me, that speaks volumes! August 7, 2013
