Fit my vehicle

The Michelin LTX M/S2 is Michelin’s most popular tire for pickups, crossovers, and SUVs—and with exceptional treadlife, fuel efficiency, and comfort, it’s easy to see why. The tire’s silica tread compound and lateral water evacuation grooves provide excellent grip and stopping power in inclement weather, and the tread design incorporates more biting edges than its predecessor for improved light snow traction.

  • MaxTouch Construction™ distributes forces of acceleration, cornering, and braking for longer wear
  • Tread design features 8% more biting edges than its predecessor for better grip in snow
  • 3D active sipes for improved handling
  • Three circumferential grooves provide exceptional resistance to hydroplaning
  • Silica tread compound provides exceptional wet handling and braking
  • Additional sipes and large lateral grooves for improved snow traction
  • Super high tensile steel belts for durability
  • Nylon cap maximizes the tire’s contact with the road for improved handling and tread life
  • Tread Life Warranty: Varies based on speed rating
  • Uniformity Warranty: First 25% Even Wear, 1 Tire Permitted
  • Workmanship Material Warranty: 72 month first 25% Free Replacment
  • Manufacture's Hazard Warranty:
  • Test Drive Warranty: 30 Day Ride and Try
  • Manufacture's Special Warranty: For a "Staggered Fitment" application (different size tires on the front and rear axles) the rear tires will only be warrantable for one half of the stated mileage for that tire line.

Rated 5 out of 5by We've been experiencing ... We've been experiencing 60K+ miles/set. 20K of those miles was pulling a 15K# fifth wheel RV with a hitch weight of 2100#, on our 2004.5 Ram 3500 Single Rear Wheel truck. Since RV hauling exposes tires to additional stress, I have the tires rotated twice/year which maintains even tread wear. Front inflation 65 psig. Rear inflated to 55 psig empty, 80psig hauling RV. If we were just driving 'round town', I'm sure the remaining 5/64th's tread depth (at time of purchasing new set) would have lasted many many more safe miles. I chose 5/64th's as a very conservation tread depth to assure maximum wet highway safety to avoid hydroplaning. In closing, Michelin tires have shown their quality when being balanced, in that I never had tires that required so little balance weight to be installed. This tells me the manufacturing process is excellent, as well as the materials. I'm a former garage mechanic & industrial technician, thus paid to be 'picky'. These are the real deal! Rated 5 out of 5by The PERFECT SUV/Truck Tire! This is my 6th set of Michelin LTX M/S tires on 3 different SUVs over 12 years; the last two sets have been M/S2 version. I drive a lot of miles in all conditions including 6000+ mile road trips. We're in Colorado and need performance onroad and offroad, these handle everything a stock 4Runner and Tahoe will handle in terms of 4-Wheeling forest service roads (not the nice ones either) and jeep trails. We've gone 4-Wheeling with our church's jeep club and been able to tackle everything on 'stock+' trails. Winter performance is exceptional on snow and ice conditions. Gas mileage is very good, better than comparable tires from other manufacturers. Best yet is the mileage we get out of them; on 4Runners ('96 and '03) I easily get 65,000 and just replaced my last set at 75,000 for winter driving (not yet to the wear indicators). Never had a flat, and the tires wear very evenly assuming your vehicle is well maintained. On my heavier 2002 Tahoe, the LTX M/S has worn much better than other name brand LT tires. I highly recommend to all, these are well worth the price for performance. November 2, 2012
Rated 4 out of 5by Great Tire So Far Switched to this tire for a '03 Yukon Denalli XL; had 2 sets of another passenger-style tire and the OEM tire for the first 110,000 miles. Have less than 2,000 miles experience so far. Ride is not quite as comfortable, but is not that bad considering that it IS a truck, and I am carrying 38 lbs. in them which is 4 more than the old tires. I think that passenger tires are OK for this vehicle if it is used only for a grocery/6 kid hauler, but not for towing, heavy hauling, or off-pavement driving. Road noise is quiet, even with the deeper tread. The side sway is noticeably less than with passenger tires. Traction in light rain is a non-issue; it's like dry pavement. Have to wait to find out about heavy rain, snow or ice, but the ratings say that this tire ranks at the top. These tires don't squeel at extra low speeds and tight turns in parking lots, either (quite embarrasing with old tires as everyone looks to see who is "racing" thru the parking lot). Trailer towing is much more stable. So far, I am well pleased, even though I had to pay 1/3 more for them than the previous make passenger-style tires. Wish I had done it the last time I bought tires. August 7, 2013
Rated 5 out of 5by LTX M/S2 for Nissan Pathfinder I purchased the tires for my 2009 Nissan Pathfinder. I didn't want to go with the OEM tire again so based on ratings and reviews for all the different tires I went with the Michelin's. Couldn't have made a better decision. My Pathfinder has never driven so smooth or quite. And they look great too! Cant' wait to see how they handle in the winter. The tire company tried to sell me every other tire for my SUV but I held firm and had them order the ones I wanted. He even told me this would not be in the top 10 tires he would put on his own SUV. Then a couple weeks later I had to go back to the same store for my husbands car (he ordered the Michelin Defenders) and when I told the same salesman I loved my new tires his exact words were, "I KNEW you would like them"....huh??? So bottom line, go with what YOU want. The LTX M/S2 tires are a great choice!! August 22, 2012
Rated 5 out of 5by Perfect for Yukon roads! I drive a 2003 GMC Sierra LTX pickup, and I live in Canada's Yukon Territory. There there are a lot of unpaved roads up here, plus constant summer road construction. When the tires that came with my truck needed to be replaced (which seemed awfully soon for 'new' tires) I asked my local garage about replacements. They drive the same vehicle I do, and I noticed Michelin LTX on their trucks. They recommended the same for mine. I've been using nothing else since. I can honestly say I have not had a flat tire in 8 and a half years, since I started using Michelin LTX's - no small feat when you consider I only drive on "asphalt" when I'm visiting the big cities (once every 2 months or so). I'm averaging 78,000 kms between sets of tires and I will ALWAYS buy the LTX's for my truck as long as live up here in the north. August 7, 2013
Rated 5 out of 5 Best tires available for Yukon XL Switched from competitor's radials upon mechanics advice to Michelin LTX M/S 2's and was amazed at the better handling and performance offered by the LTX M/S 2 tires. Driving a Yukon XL in the mountains (Asheville, NC area) will quickly bring out the best and worst in a set of tires. Previous competitors tires would squeel, chatter, and feel mushy through turns. The Michelin LTX M/S 2's have exhibited none of those characteristics and have even improved my gas mileage up to 3 and 4 more miles per gallon. At this point, I will never put another tire on my Yukon XL other than the LTX M/S 2's. I would definitely recommend this tire to a friend and better yet, now my Dad and brother(who drive Suburbans) have gone to these tires and sing their praises too. August 9, 2013
Rated 5 out of 5by Keep on Truckin' I replaced the Michelin Cross Terrains on my 2004 Ford Ranger with the LTX MS2's and they are great. Bad experiences with other brands, eg. loud tire noise, uneven and poor wear, led me to the Michelin brand on my truck, and I have been very pleased with them. I got over 40,000 miles on the Cross Terrains, in some not-so-light duty, and so far the new LTX MS2 has exceeded my expectations, while doing some heavy lifting. Snow and hills in Pennsylvania, cement blocks for my garage, and sand and pavers for the patio, I've found they really handle well, and can handle the load. Michelin is the premier tire for people who care about performance and safety. Thanks Michelin, I'll keep putting you on my truck, and my wife's SUV! August 12, 2013
Rated 5 out of 5by Safest Tire In The World My granddaughter was just lost her life in the fiery i-75 accident in Gainesville Fl. she was the 11ths victem found. We needed the safest tire in the world to go from our home in Pensacola,Fl to obtain her remains. This trip required me to put the safest tire on my Titan for the family to make that trip. Sabryna Hughes Gilley my deceased grandaughter as the 11th victem found would have wanted us safe. As a matter of the heart I want my family safe on the road. These tires performed excellent as I knew they would and we made the trip. I will never entrust any tire on my trucks or cars for safety for my family.Michelin is not just any tire. Let Michelin take care of your family and loved ones on the road. I have a peace of mind now driving. God Bless February 10, 2012

So far so good....

I ordered these tires online from TireBuyer.com and they were delivered overnight. Great customer service. As far as the tires go, I have had them installed for about 3 weeks now and so far so good.
