Rated 5 out of 5 by Amazing grip I got new wheels and tires and decided to go with the nt555. I came from a 275/60/17 BFG long trail (not exactly performance I know) to 295/45/18 in the rear and 255/45/18 in the front. The difference is amazing. It handles loads better, on launches the tires spin just a little, but only for the first 5 or 10 feet. The truck is not stock by any means, it has a built 355 with a 12 bolt posi for a rear end. I was very surprised by how good this tire is. Next time I think I will try the nt05. April 29, 2015
Rated 4 out of 5 by Fantastic Tire This tire handles well, has great wet traction, rides decent, and is quiet on noisy roads. The NT555 is a great performance tire for your daily driver. It loves spirited driving and doesn't beat you to death with road noise during the daily commute. All of that and it handles wet roads and cooler temps as well as an all season tire. This is one of the best "Summer" tires out there due to it's versatility in a variety of conditions. April 26, 2015
Rated 4 out of 5 by on s550 great in the dry but be ready to start breaking a bit earlier in the wet. huge improvement over stock but could be a little better on wet roads. when it is dry they are a grip machine. April 27, 2015
Rated 3 out of 5 by Bang for your buck I have 255/45ZR18 on 9" rims and 285/40ZR18 on 10" rims (SVE Drift wheels). I'm lowered 1.5" and the wheel gap is gone. Ride is quieter than stock Pirellis and grip is much better, I actually have to try to break loose around a corner. There are better handling tires out there (at double the price). Unless you have a high HP car these should be good for a DD. Very happy with these tires! April 9, 2015
Rated 5 out of 5 by Perfect Daily Driver Tire I have 275/40/17 in front and 315/35/17 out back. I had the same size in the Sumitomo HTRZ and these NITTO's are better by leaps and bounds. After about 500 miles, they are well broken in and grip the road extremely well. They have not had any issues on wet pavement, but I do not drive recklessly in those conditions. Others may experience loss of traction if they do not drive appropriately. From a dig, they surpass the Sumitomo's. I have just under 300 hp at the wheels and I can spin them, but that is to be expected with any street radial.I drive most aggressively in corners and these tires keep me well planted. The tire sizes I have still have a bit of sidewall so I would imagine a lower profile tire will corner better.I daily drive these tires and, so far, am impressed with them.I have had the pleasure of driving with the Motivo's and they are a good daily driver as well; just not as much grip as the NT555.All in all, I am very satisfied with the NT555 and intend to continue to use them as my choice of tire for my Mustang. Rated 5 out of 5 by 2012 Ford Mustang GT I purchased the NT555 235/50/18 for the front of my 2012 Ford Mustang GT (manual trans, daily driven) to compliment the NT555R 305/45/18 rear Drag Radials. They look good, drive great and match beautifully! !00% satisfied. They replaced the factory Pirelli 235/50/18 tires. March 13, 2015
Rated 5 out of 5 by ZR 555 I had 555 Extremes installed on my driver/track car in 2013. I was impressed with the traction and performance of these tires. I drive H.P.D.E.'s in the Midwest and I have yet to drive a track these tires can't handle the various surface conditions .I am now a loyal Nitto customer.Thanks. February 6, 2015
Rated 5 out of 5 by 1996 Corvette LT4 Coupe The Nitto NT555 is the best street tire I've found for my C4 Corvette and I've owned my 1996 Corvette LT4 coupe since new. This vehicle has always been a non commuter, weekend fun vehicle only. Even though this vehicle is used almost exclusively on two lane mountain and country roads, I have always demanded good wet weather performance from the tires I purchase as weather can be unpredictable, especially in the mountains. After the OEM Goodyear GSCs wore out around 30K miles, I tried Firestone Firehawk SZ50s which I found to be both acceptable and affordable and after those were discontinued, I tried the Gen 2 Firehawk Wide Oval which seemed to be a little softer compound with somewhat better grip, but side wall flex on all of these tires significantly affected steering response, which hinders corner setup and severely affects vehicle speed in linked corners like a chicane.Tires I've evaluated on my other vehicles, 2002 & 2006 Honda S2000, include the Gen 3 Firehawk Wide Oval Indy 500 which is even worse with respect to side wall flex and steering response as this latest version appears to be optimized for wear and ride. I'm also familiar with the OEM Bridgestone Potenza S02 and RE050 tires, which are original equipment on S2000 AP1 and AP2 respectively.I find the Nitto NT555 to be most similar to the Potenza RE050 as both provide quick and predictable steering response with acceptable wet weather, ride and tread wear qualities. Although the Potenza S02 has the absolute best steering and cornering response of any tire I've tried, I believe most drivers would find its cost, wear and wet pavement qualities completely unacceptable. Before I discovered the NT555, I was disappointed with the cornering performance of my Corvette on canyon roads when comparing it to my Honda S2000s, but a set of (4) four Nitto 275/40ZR17s on 9.5" wheels and Z51 shock absorbers changed all that! TIREBUYER CUSTOMER REVIEWS

So far so good....

I ordered these tires online from TireBuyer.com and they were delivered overnight. Great customer service. As far as the tires go, I have had them installed for about 3 weeks now and so far so good.
