Rated 4.4 out of 5by 442reviewers.
Rated 5 out of 5by KM2 Mud Terrains Kick Butt Recently purchased 4 KM2 Mud Terrain tires 35X12.5. They were the replacement set for my BFG All Terrains, got 42,000 miles out of that set on my 2004 1500 Dodge Ram, also have an 83 Jeep CJ-5 running 32X11.5 BFG All Terrains. So got some experience with BFG products. The KM2'S were installed on a Thursday and Saterday my 16 year old and I headed out with our ATV and Dirt Bike loaded on a trailer with caming gear and all the essensials for a weekend of dirt riding. Bad rain headed out at 5:00 am in a driving rain, wipers on high about 50 miles into our journey rain stopped, tires were flawless on asphault under these conditions. Now the real test Checked in at ATV park, driving through very wet red clay mud loaded down with trailer, bikes, caming gear ect. in 4WD High, no slip or slide and this was some thick stuff after an all night monsoon! I will never buy anything but BFG tires ever again. Keep up the outstanding work!!! Thank You April 17, 2014
Rated 5 out of 5by I purchased my first set ... I purchased my first set of 32/11.50/15 KM2 when the tires first released in 2008 i was looking for a porforming tire with an apropriate functional aggresive thread pattern that gives good all around use. After becoming familar with the BFG KRAWLER T/A thru rockcrawling events and King of the Hammer's i saw the full function of its thread pattern of the intire tire including sidewall abuse performing amazing on the rocks. I needed i tire like a crawler for my medium duty trail rig. I looked at no other than the KM2 being almost identical in like a crawler but for both offroad and street use. I tried my KM2s in snow, mud, rocks, sand its performance blew me away' my Jeep was night and day difference its ability offroad increased on these set's of tires. The tires performance amazed my offroad group 4 of them choose the KM2 as their next tire. My Jeep is now on 35/12.50/15 KM2s i looked at no other tire. its performance is exceptional for a street and offroad tire.. November 20, 2010
Rated 5 out of 5by Should have bought long ago! I was really on the fence about these. I was debating between a couple of MTs. Mind you these are the first I have ever gotten. Up until now I only ran ATs and wish I had made the switch a LONG TIME AGO! These are on my '08 JKU and it has taken me even further than the AT's could ever have dreamed. Road noise is not bad. I was expecting some serious humming but between my exhaust and music, I never really hear it. Even my wife was shocked. I like to try and push the limits to know where they are in my vehicle, and I have yet to lose any traction with these, rain, snow nothing. I highly recommend these tires! Braking distances are good, the other day I had to slam on my brakes and never heard a peep they just came to a stop. As for fuel efficiency, like I said I drive a jeep JK, it is lifted and I do not care that much about MPG's. However, even with that said in the city I average 16 and on my last road trip to Yellowstone I was able to get 26mpg! January 31, 2013
Rated 3 out of 5 Overall Not Bad I purchased two sets of these for my 2006 and 2009 Dodge Power Wagons. Thought I would try them out as I work in the seismic industry and never know what I might get into. Offroad, dirt, gravel, snow, wet grass, creek crossings, logging trails, muddy pastures, ect.... these tires are just what you would expect them to be. Great traction, great handling. I was even pleasantly suprised with the lack of noise these tires make on the highway. (There's some, I just expected more) Tread life seams to be OK as well. Recently I have found myself putting more highway miles on than normal and what I'm dissapointed about is that as these KM2's are wearing, they are constanly going out of balance. I have had both trucks balanced and re-balanced and need to have them done again. Wheel weights are not missing, dirt or mud has not accumulated, no bent rims..... but because it is happening in both trucks I suspect the tires. July 12, 2013
Rated 3 out of 5by Could be better The Tread is amazing, Cleans better than anything else that isn't a comp tire and is a great tire on the road! All the tire does is DIG DIG DIG which is great in all mud types and it grips well on any rocks. I would say that compared to the krawler the tread should be wider it said 12.50 but the tread measured to only 9" wide and it should be 3 ply for strength with the same or similar sidewall as the Krawler. The sidewall is only 2 ply for flexability but theres not much to be gained since the main reason to airdown is for the sidewall to help but this case there isn't any. Its a great tire but it could be so much better if it was 3 ply. wider tread that was actually 12.50" and a great sidewall it could possibly be the best tire in the business. February 12, 2014
Rated 4 out of 5by I'd been looking forward ... I'd been looking forward to using a new tire on my wrangler after the Goodyear MT/R's wore out on my Jeep and figured that I'd try the KM/2's as a replacement. On the road the KM/2's were fantastic, quiet, comfortable, handled great, braking is great, etc. Off-road the traction is excellent, they gripped very well on decomposed granite as well as dirt. My only disappointment has been that on their first trip out I ended the day with 2 punctures, both in the tread of the tire. The first was from running over a bush and getting a stick pushed into the tread between the tread blocks. I fixed this with a plug and carried on. The second I have yet to find but after adding a bottle of Slime I've had no problems. I hope that the issues I had were just flukes. I'm looking forward to my next hardcore trail ride to really work the tire and check their sidewall strength. November 11, 2010
Rated 5 out of 5by I recently purchased a ... I recently purchased a set of 35 inch KM2's to replace some old mud tires. The old tires (whose brand shall remain nameless) wore quickly and uneven, even though alignment and caster angle are spot on. In addition to not lasting long, they were heavy, noisy, and did not clean out mud very well. After bolting on the KM2's, I was immediately surprised at how light they were. After driving around a little bit, the surprises kept coming. For being such an aggressive looking tire, they are hardly noticable on the road. I've only put about 1000 miles on them, so I can't comment too heavily on how they wear, but so far so good. Off-road performance is key in my application. Rocks, hills, trees; no problem. The deep, truck-swallowing mud is mostly what we have around here, and these tires self-clean very well and keep on churning. I'm very impressed. November 13, 2010
Rated 5 out of 5by While using my first ... While using my first set...i got into situations where i was buried axle deep in mud. Their new design to clean at high revs was impeccable and even in a two wheel drive truck...ive never been stuck! In the dirt...i have grip that is easy to control...yet driftable when neccesary as well as grippy on trails. The mud terrain km2 is an outright awesome tire! I have recommended it to very many and continue to do so. They are a bit soft but wear very evenly. Even with horrible alignment...ive never seen tires that could wear so evenly and still perform. Wet weather...they are tough to break loose unless you have excessive horsepower or understeer. The sidewalls are also a large step upwards...the new edge grabs those pesky ruts and washout lines with little effort making getting out of bad situations much easier. For my money...BFG FOR LIFE! So far so good....

I ordered these tires online from TireBuyer.com and they were delivered overnight. Great customer service. As far as the tires go, I have had them installed for about 3 weeks now and so far so good.
