Rated 4.8 out of 5by 3191reviewers.
Rated 5 out of 5by Michelin makes the best tires I had new tires from a major brand on my used Odyssey when I bought it a year ago. Nice to have new tires, I thought. But a few months ago I started having trouble with front end shimmy, steering wheel shaking, vibration at many speeds, and I thought the front end was going out. But a mechanic showed me that a tire was "bad." I took it to tire dealer who replaced it for free. The steel belt was shifting. All tires were at least 1.5 oz off balance. After three rebalances, lasting as little as three days, I got frustrated... If I can't drive three days without rebalancing tires something's wrong. So I replaced all four with the best tires I know of, Michelin. Then drove 2000 miles in a few days and the Michelins were perfect. I expect them to stay so for their warranty period, 90,000 miles, like all my other Michelins over the years. They are more expensive but definitely worth it, for peace of mind. Good tires are cheap insurance. These are great in ice and snow in Wyoming and Colorado. December 27, 2013
Rated 4 out of 5 Early Indications are Good Recently put these on the Grand Caravan and made a weekend trip with the family to the campground with trailer in tow. While it's hard to comment on performance under these circumstances, the van and trailer traveled well, in quiet and easy handling road manners. I hope to get better life out of these, as the stock tires from Korea (I think) lasted about 60K. The Caravan is a heavy car and if you tow, I can see tires wearing faster than projected. Note that I always run on winter tires from Nov-Apr. The tires do look good and having the tire flat roadside assistance included, given that the vehicle is now beyond its mileage warranty is a huge bonus. September 21, 2014
Rated 5 out of 5 Great Tires I have a 2005 Chevy Venture, I had the Defender tires installed in Dec 2012. I immediately noticed a quiter and smoother ride. I had Michelin "Rain Tire" on another Venture and loved the way it handeled in rain. This was several years ago. This summer I have been on the Interstate and it started raing so hard it was almost impossiable to see a 100 feet. I was surprised to see these tires are better than the "Rain Tires" that were on the other Venture (That vechicle was totaled in 2010 when a lady ran a red light on T boned the Venture.) The torential rains have proven to me I have great tires that "know" how to get rid of the water, and stay connected to the pavement. There as been at least 10-15 times this summer they have proven themselves. Sometimes for almost an hour with flashers on, and still moving with the traffic at slow speeds for long distances. Not once did it ever feel like I was loosing traction. I have had Michelins for most of the last 40+ years, They are my tire of choice. August 12, 2013
Rated 5 out of 5by Definitely worth every penny spent!!! When I bought my 2012 Honda CR-V, it came with the typical low end brand tires and I knew that I was going to have to live with it till it was time for new ones. The low brand tires that I had on my car was so NOISY....UGH...talk about noisiest tires I believe I ever own. I also put lot of miles on my car as well so imagine my excitement when I finally wore the tires out to replace it with Michelin tires!!! I've had Michelin tires before and let me tell you...when I drove off the tire store today with a set of brand new Michelin tires....my car is so QUIET that I can actually can think!! It also drive so much better. I don't know what it will do to my gas mileage but I know it is going to be an improvement. I will always be a Michelin customer for life cause I know they stand by their products and my hubby and I had very good luck with them!! Don't be afraid to spend that extra bucks for good tires...it is well worth it! Thank You Michelin for outstanding tires as always!!!! November 28, 2013
Rated 5 out of 5by Best Tires Out There! Bought these tires based on previous ownership. They are worth it. I own a 2006 Ford Taurus and I tried another brand of tires by regret and they were junk. I was stuck in the snow in my own driveway with the cheaper tires. Never once had any issue with Michelin. No belts breaking in the tires, no hydroplaning, never getting stuck in the snow, good traction on icy roads, tread lasts years even with plenty of mileage. I'm sold on this brand as well as this series of tire. Defender is Top of the Line in All Weather Tires. The ride is unbelievably smooth and your ability to stop sooner is a major plus in the constant construction zones in my area. September 17, 2014
Rated 5 out of 5by Finally got what I paid for! I paid for a performance car, but it drifted on accelerated corners much too soon. When the road was wet the car never felt like it was stabile. At the price paid for this I gave wet stops so much latitude that I must have made the folks behind me nuts. I just felt unsafe. Dearler could do nothing and said that it had performance tires...albeit not top of the line tires. After substantial research I returned to the Michelin brand I had used on my truck prior to this purchase; "Defenders" specifically. Not only was cost of the original tires a waste, the price of the car is a waste if the tires won't let it perform to the engineer's design. It was great to finally get my money's worth! I have since put these on my son's car and recommended them to friends. Note: these are much more quiet than the older Michelins I've owned. Also, the older Michelins were rated for 65K miles. I logged over 200K and on a truck, no less. With an expected 90,000 mile life, I can't wait to see if these outlast the car. August 14, 2013
Rated 5 out of 5 2012 Kia Soul I spent about a week researching tires for my 2012 Kia Soul. I replaced the OE tires at 33500 miles. I found the Michelin Defenders to have a long life and great wet and dry traction. I gained about 1 mpg and the ride was amazing. This is my wifes car and all she could tell you is that it is red. She called me on day 2 with the new tires, it was a down pour, she could not believe what a difference the tires made. She drove through the rain with no problems. I would recomend these tires to every one I know. The price was only a little higher for these tires but they should last around 90000 miles. The value of these tires is great!!!!! I drove the car and I was amazed at the handling. It took turns ( at high speeds) 100 times beter then the old tires. Ther car never drove as great as it does now. I have two other cars and when it's time for tires, they will also get the defenders. On the highway the car rides much smoother. They are very quite at all speeds and car handles great at all speeds now. August 12, 2013
Rated 5 out of 5by Night and Day Difference I recently bought these tires, and I must say that the difference is as my title suggests, "night and day." I live in the US Midwest and this winter has been especially bad. I was getting ready to go on a trip, and my grandfather and I looked over my car to make sure everything was in order before I left. He insisted that I buy a new set of tires, and he highly recommended Michelin-brand. At first, I was hestitant, because they were the most expense of tires in its sizes (almost double the brand I had before). However, after a recent snow storm, I've found that these tires were well worth it. I was able to get out of my driveway with relative ease. Accelerating and turning from a dead-stop at a traffic light is smooth and responsive (before I would struggle and my car would swerve). Stopping is much easier...I'm sure that without these tires I would have felt the feedback from my anti-lock brakes many more times than I did. I am loving these new tires. I'm now glad I went for these instead of the cheaper brand. February 4, 2014

So far so good....

I ordered these tires online from TireBuyer.com and they were delivered overnight. Great customer service. As far as the tires go, I have had them installed for about 3 weeks now and so far so good.
