Rated 4 out of 5 This tire replaced the ... This tire replaced the stock tires on my 2006 Nissan Frontier Crew Cab LX. The original tires lasted 60,000 miles which was pretty impressive. I could have gotten 5,000 more miles easily out of them. Got the Michelin Latitude Tour HP - P265 / 60R-18 110H MBZ and could not be happier with my choice. I do very little off road driving (which really amounts to fire roads), so highway driving was more important to me. These tires are noticeably a lot quieter and smoother with a noticeable better grip in corners. In So Cal, we have very little rain, so the small amount we have shows these tires to perform very excellent. My fuel economy has increased about 1 mile per gallon. I have only put 5,500 miles on them since purchasing them 2 months ago and have already rotated them once. So far, these tires were a great choice. I also researched tires for several months before purchasing them, because once you buy them, you are stuck with them for a long time. I also went plus 1 on the size over stock. November 11, 2010
Rated 5 out of 5 by bw777 Great Ride I bought a new SUV/Crossover in November of 2012 and I was thrilled when it came with Michelin tires. I've been a user of Michelin tires for years and have extensive experience with them on both SUV/4-wheel drive/AWD and sports cars. The Latitude tires perform great, they got around in the Colorado winter snow season with no trouble on my new AWD vehicle. I took a 3,000 mile road trip about three months after getting the vehicle and the ride was exceptional - smooth and quiet. They handle well and the cornering and traction that they provide in all conditions is second to none. The tires now have over 12,000 miles on them and show little sign of wear, I expect that they will have a great lifespan. When these tires wear out, I will definitely replace them with another set of Michelin tires. Based on my experience with this set (as well as a number of prior sets of Michelin tires) I highly recommend Michelin tires for their performance, ride and durability. August 7, 2013
Rated 5 out of 5 by Anonamouse Michelin, "The only name in Tires!" My Father always told me, "Anything you use everyday, buy the best!" Now the best was often a little more than the rest and I pondered that me, being rather fund deficient, could not always afford the "Best"? This lead me to ask, not the salesperson, the mechanic at my tire center for advice. He shared with me that Michelin tires rarely get nails in them and that when that do get a nail, he is always able to repair them! I applied his advice and our Family of five have driven only on Michelin tires the last twenty years. I love the feel of the road when I'm driving, the solid connection with the pavement. I can hear my Wife on noisy road and railroad tracks I safely fly over. Michelin Latitude tires are handsome, rugged, all-weather performance tires that give a real Man something to talk about. Trust me on this one, find a dealer and "Ask the Mechanic!" August 12, 2013
Rated 5 out of 5 by jrstone2000 Really happy with these tires I recently acquired a set of these tires for my 2007 Landrover LR3 and have been extremely satisfied. I previously had a set of the stock tires on this vehicle. The road noise is much lower, almost non-existent with these tires and the ride is much smoother. Additionally, just today I had the opportunity to try these tires out in snow and ice. We received heavy freezing rain/ice at the start of a storm that was covered with an additional four inches of snow. I expected to have at least some slipping given this combination. However, the tires were rock steady and did not slip at all. I live in a subdivision that never gets plowed early at the top of a hill and had no issues getting up or down steep hill in this SUV that weights about 6000 pounds. Am very happy with these tires. One of the best purchases I have made in a while. March 2, 2014
Rated 4 out of 5 by sergeych Excellent handling but low mileage They came as a stock tires on my 2009 Tiguan. 215/65 R16 X-green. Handling and fuel efficiency are good but now the car has only 67,000 km and only 5 mm left on the tires. Will have to replace them before winter. They are very soft and the ride is soft but I would probably prefer to have a little less soft tires for better feel of the car and longer life. I expected them to last at least 80k as the stock tires on my wife's Rabbit but they are not even close to 80k. I will probably go for another brand unless Michelin gives me a discount on a set of new Latitude Tour HP. After all the ride is very soft and it's important for my little kids. September 17, 2014
Rated 2 out of 5 by GHR Latitude Tour HP tires I drive a 2007 Acura MDX which came equipped with Michelin Latitude Tour HP. I liked the OEM tires and when the time came to replace my tires, I replaced them with like tires, Michelin Latitude Tour HP. After 30 K miles, the tires have become extremely noisy and if not for the tread remaining on the tires, I would replace them with a different type or brand. At highway speed, the noise generated from the tires drives me crazy, I think I'm driving a 18 wheel truck instead of a luxury SUV. I have always purchased Michelin tires and find their tires to be a quality product however, should I replace my current tires, Michelin Latitude Tour HP would not be the tire I would choose. Rated 5 out of 5 by Nettie Makes driving a dream We purchased these tires before our trip from North Carolina to South Dakota. I felt very safe and secure that these tires would hold to the road under any conditions and they proved perfect. These tires carried us over some hard bumps very smoothly. They held to the road going around the sharp curves in the mountains never once slipping. They responded quickly to heavy braking the few times that was needed. We went through some heavy rain, I did not see a large puddle across the road; when I hit that puddle the steering wheel did pull but the tires held beautifully and got us through safely. Not everything is perfect so I must say that there is a little noise from the tires when travelling the interstates. I do not mind because these tires are so safe and smooth riding that I will only buy Michelin from this day forward. August 14, 2013
Rated 4 out of 5 Looking for a safe, smooth riding tires? This tire is a good performer in the city as well as in high speed driving. It handles all weather conditions: wet, snow, and dry pavement in a safe and reliable manner. The composition of the tire allows me to go into fairly sharp turns with the confidence that my Hyundai Santa Fe will hold the road. The tires that came with this SUV when new were not a Michelin product. I have seen a marked change in performance of this vehicle with the upgrade to Latitude HP Tour tires. Need to buy another set of winter tires? Save your money, because these tires will do the job even going to the ski slopes in the high mountains. Only down side that I have experienced, tires will collect gravel in the tread pattern when doing limited off-road driving. This is do to the soft composition of the rubber compounds used to give the great on-road performance that I appreciate in this tire. Like any tire you buy, I properly maintain them with regards to tire pressure, rotation, and balancing when needed. This contributes to the good tire wear I am receiving and added performance. Treat this tire right....and it will add to the driving pleasure of the vehicle you mount them. August 7, 2013
