Rated 3 out of 5 by Great ride most of the time except in snow I have rotated my tires every 5000 miles and at 31000 my dealer tells me to start looking for another set. Here in the Ozarks you cannot get the mileage the tires are rated for because of all of the curves and hills. This tire is great on flat roads and on the curves but not so great in the winter. Had trouble navigating hills and starting from stops on snowy days. May 25, 2015
Rated 5 out of 5 Great Tire A great tire in true Michelin form. Smooth, quiet with excellent traction. May 9, 2015
Rated 4 out of 5 by Short but sweet These were my first set of Michelin tires and they were great while they lasted. The life expectancy of the tire is 60,000, I got about 39,000 with alignments about every 6 months, balancing and rotating about every other oil change. They wore down even. Most of my traveling was highway with some city mixed in. The ride, can't same much better than nice and smooth. They gripped very well even in snow and rain. The noise quality, or lack there of, was not even a factor. They didn't start causing any humming until just recently, but that is to be expected. The ride quality is very high and you don't get a spongy feel, there is a very good mix of softness and grip. Overall, I cannot discredit these tires and have recommended them to many of my co-workers. I thought about replacing them with a new set, but I think I might go with something a little more sporty, maybe something from the Pilot series. As I have stated, these are very good tires and would recommend them to anyone looking for a good set. August 12, 2013
Rated 5 out of 5 Goes the distance My primacy MXV4's lasted me about 90,000 miles! I drive a Subaru Impreza. Most of the miles are over a long distance, back and forth between the San Francisco Bay Area and Lake Tahoe. The tires handled very well in Snow and Ice. No chains needed...ever! The tires handled well on wet roads, hairpin turns at speed, heavy rain storms, and dirt roads. Also went on a few long road trips up and down the Pacific Coast and from California to Wyoming to Colorado to Utah back to Wyoming and then back to Cali. From the tire's perspective, I was paying less than a penny per mile. I actually had two of these tires plugged after running over a nail and a screw at about the 15K and 50K mile markers. My MPG's were well above Subaru's estimate for my car. I would have bought these tires again, but just purchased the Premiers a few days ago knowing they have a 60K mile warranty. The technology looks good to me and I'll be living up in the mountains from now on. June 2, 2014
Rated 5 out of 5 by Excellant road tires I've been using Michelin tires for 30 years and do not even consider any other. We live in Colorado Springs where we recently had an unusual 12" to 18" snowfall in just a few hours while we were at a north end restaurant. There was no snow when we went in, so were surprised when we came out into a ranging blizzard. My car is a front wheel drive Chrysler convertible and we had little trouble getting home through six miles of unplowed streets. We have experience similar conditions with lesser snow falls but on longer trips of 300 miles to Grand Junction across the mountains with no problems at all. Only one time in the last 30 years I had another brand tire that had just the right tread grooves to pick up every nail, screw, bolt, and even scrap metal the car was near resulting in flat tires. After about 12 flats I changed back to Michelins and no more flats. I love my Michelin tires no matter which model it has been. They are all superior to other makes. August 7, 2013
Rated 5 out of 5 by Michelin MXV4 is exactly as rated. We spent weeks surveying info pertaining to which tire was the best for our 2008 Taurus X. We wanted a smooth riding, relatively quiet, good on all weather surfaces, long lasting tire that we could depend on. Michelin stepped up to the requirements and then some. My wife and I are extremely proud of the results with this tire. As Michigan residents, while at home we have had the opportunity to travel in all types of climate throughout the year. We also go over 2000 miles (1 way) each year within the central States, over roads that have shown us just about any type of weather conditions you might conceive. We see heat, freezing temperatures, sun, rain, snow and more. Our MXV4 Michelins have never given us a predicament (and we have been in them all) that we felt we had no chance to come out of safely. BY ALL MEANS, WE RECOMMEND THE MICHELIN MXV4 TIRE to anyone who might be looking for the very best tire at a reasonable price for that grade of tire. August 8, 2013
Rated 4 out of 5 by Pretty darn good tires Put on my Honda Minivan..... Mixed highway and city miles.... Now have 45,000 miles on them and they seem hard as a rock. Initially, nice ride quality, low noise, low road noise transmissions, good stick, good stick in winter. After about 20k, (2nd winter), they got much more slippery, noticed the transmitted road noise form ridng in the rougher parts of the highway where the trucks roughen up the road is now higher. Ride seemed a bit rougher. Now at 45k, they're rocks. I can feel the paint stripes when I change lanes, can't even drive in truck lanes. They still stick like glue in dry weather, a little less in wet. Ride is noisy (for long distances, if I don't need the room, I will drive ANY other car). Not sure how they will fare this winter...may have to replace...but I still have another 25k work of tread on them, so might try and make it through the winter (if we don't get too much snow days in the Pac NW).... Overall, I'd consider buying them again, but not keep them so long (or look at something with a bit more ride quality longevity...). August 7, 2013
Rated 5 out of 5 by One of the best buying choices I made I am a true believer in Michelin tires. They came on my vehicle when I purchased it in 2007 and I continue to choose Michelin. As a person who was on the road "a lot" due to my occupation, I always counted on knowing I had safe, reliable tires on my vehicle. The tires have great longevity. I have had a few questions in the past about my tires and I found Michelin customer service to be outstanding in providing guidance and direction. I like the fact that I get correspondence to prompt me about tire rotation and when it might be time to get new tires. I have not had any problems with my tires which I purchased in 2011 & 2012. The tires ride smooth and wear evenly with appropriate rotation and wheel alignment when needed. The tires handle exceptionally well in the rain on wet roads. I feel safe knowing I have Michelins on my car and I will purchase new Michelins when the time comes. A very satisfied customer. August 7, 2013

TIREBUYER CUSTOMER REVIEWS

So far so good....

I ordered these tires online from TireBuyer.com and they were delivered overnight. Great customer service. As far as the tires go, I have had them installed for about 3 weeks now and so far so good.
