Rated 4.7 out of 5by 1980reviewers.
Rated 5 out of 5 Goes the distance My primacy MXV4's lasted me about 90,000 miles! I drive a Subaru Impreza. Most of the miles are over a long distance, back and forth between the San Francisco Bay Area and Lake Tahoe. The tires handled very well in Snow and Ice. No chains needed...ever! The tires handled well on wet roads, hairpin turns at speed, heavy rain storms, and dirt roads. Also went on a few long road trips up and down the Pacific Coast and from California to Wyoming to Colorado to Utah back to Wyoming and then back to Cali. From the tire's perspective, I was paying less than a penny per mile. I actually had two of these tires plugged after running over a nail and a screw at about the 15K and 50K mile markers. My MPG's were well above Subaru's estimate for my car. I would have bought these tires again, but just purchased the Premiers a few days ago knowing they have a 60K mile warranty. The technology looks good to me and I'll be living up in the mountains from now on. June 2, 2014
Rated 2 out of 5by lost 10mpg on my Prius V with this tire I am sure that these tires will be wonderful this winter on bad roads. but as it is now. I will have to purchase another tire for my Pruis V in the spring. I have had kept a steady average of 43-45 mgp since buying my car in Feb 2012. Right from the beginning with no change in gas station my milage has dropped to 30-33mpg max. I have had these tires on for almost 2 weeks and have filled up my tank twice at my 2 regular gas stations. It really saddens me that I am not able to use my car for what it was made for. Gas savings. I have also noticed that the car appears to have a feeling of floating over the road a bit when steering as well. Not sure what to attribute that to. but have never had this happen since I have had the car. My other tires were still have safe tread on them but I did not feel comfortable using them with winter snow on the interstates. I will put them back on and remove these and use only for winter safety. If I had another choice of taking them back I would choose that. December 13, 2013
Rated 4 out of 5by Short but sweet These were my first set of Michelin tires and they were great while they lasted. The life expectancy of the tire is 60,000, I got about 39,000 with alignments about every 6 months, balancing and rotating about every other oil change. They wore down even. Most of my traveling was highway with some city mixed in. The ride, can't same much better than nice and smooth. They gripped very well even in snow and rain. The noise quality, or lack there of, was not even a factor. They didn't start causing any humming until just recently, but that is to be expected. The ride quality is very high and you don't get a spongy feel, there is a very good mix of softness and grip. Overall, I cannot discredit these tires and have recommended them to many of my co-workers. I thought about replacing them with a new set, but I think I might go with something a little more sporty, maybe something from the Pilot series. As I have stated, these are very good tires and would recommend them to anyone looking for a good set. August 12, 2013
Rated 5 out of 5by Sweet Handling, Great Grip This tire grips so well that every time I choose to really put the car through its paces on a mountain road, I get surprised with the tires capability. I have taken the mxv4 on dirt roads and it also performs decent on non paved roads. I would recommend this tire to anyone who wants a safe and confidence inspiring tire. It has managed to keep me out of lots of trouble. Definitely ordering another set. July 9, 2014
Rated 3 out of 5 not wearing well I was amazed at the smoothness (LIKE FLOATING ON A CLOUD)of the these tires on the highway in my 2011 sienna LE.. These tires are great on wet and dry roads and deliver great fuel economy, but they really lack in the snow. The power of the sienna (270 HP) and slippery snow cause these tires to spin (a lot) Traction control kicks in and stops it fast. Wish you could put the M/S for trucks on this vehicle. Free maintenance and tire rotation for 25,000 miles. I have two tires which are wearing excessively.. These are almost bald at 33,000 miles.. The other two are pretty worn also, but will be rotating again soon at 35,000 and will see how they look at 40,000. I will need 4 more tires by winter for sure. I don't know of anyone with these tires on a seinna so I don't know if this is what I should expect. Not a bad tire may work better on another vehicle. Never had Michelin tires but my dad has them on all his vehicles and swears by them and is surprised at these tires. July 19, 2013
Rated 5 out of 5by Michelin, Quality Product I use Michelin tires on all of my cars. I regularly get the published life from them by keeping them balanced and rotated regularly. They are the quietest and most reliable tires I've ever used. (I have not been rewarded for these statements, and I am in no way related to the Michelin Corporation, except that I utilize their products) OFFLINE.. (Recently, I noticed significant flat spots on areas of the tires that are closest to the large weights, but I believe this may be because the Retailer/Installer may be rounding up the dynamic balancing. I would like to present this question to Michelin Engineering) June 24, 2014
Rated 5 out of 5 Best Set of Tires Ever Had This is the best set of tires I have ever owned!!! Second time purchasing. Michelin should think about continuing this tire model indefinitely. They have it all; handle well, stop well, very smooth ride, and especially a quiet ride. (Quiet is important if you have ever had a noisy set of tires.) Drawback is they are a little less on the handling than other performance tires, but still handle well on curves at normal or a little faster speeds. Overall, this is a great tire for long distance commuting and travel. June 26, 2014
Rated 5 out of 5by Excellant road tires I've been using Michelin tires for 30 years and do not even consider any other. We live in Colorado Springs where we recently had an unusual 12" to 18" snowfall in just a few hours while we were at a north end restaurant. There was no snow when we went in, so were surprised when we came out into a ranging blizzard. My car is a front wheel drive Chrysler convertible and we had little trouble getting home through six miles of unplowed streets. We have experience similar conditions with lesser snow falls but on longer trips of 300 miles to Grand Junction across the mountains with no problems at all. Only one time in the last 30 years I had another brand tire that had just the right tread grooves to pick up every nail, screw, bolt, and even scrap metal the car was near resulting in flat tires. After about 12 flats I changed back to Michelins and no more flats. I love my Michelin tires no matter which model it has been. They are all superior to other makes. August 7, 2013

So far so good....

I ordered these tires online from TireBuyer.com and they were delivered overnight. Great customer service. As far as the tires go, I have had them installed for about 3 weeks now and so far so good.
