Rated 5 out of 5by Michelin 225/60 R17 Energy LX4 M+S 2003 Lincoln Town Car Signature. Michelin 225/60 R17 Skinny white wall. These tires are very quiet and seem to have great traction on wet and snow covered highways. I always buy all 4-tires in one set. The tires have 22,000-miles and are still super quiet, no vibrations, and the tread still looks almost new. The white walls hold up very well when scraping up against the sidewalk when parking on the street. I have had non-Michelin tires that the white wall "rubbed/torn off". I usually get to 60,000-miles on my Michelin tires and get new ones way before the old ones are bad. I just don't risk driving with tires that are 75% worn out. The tire shop buys/gives a credit, for $10.00 each and resells them as good used with a 30-day warranty. I plan to stick with Michelin as long as they don't change how they build quality into each tire. Smoothness, quietness, braking, looks, handling, and wear are very important to me and right now Michelin offers all these things for just a few more bucks over the cheap off brand tries. Rated 5 out of 5 I have been using ... I have been using Michelin tires for more tha 30 years. I have three vehicles and use only Micelin on all three. My first experience was after I had purchased a used full-size passenger van. I did not like the way it was driving,so I took it in for an alignment check. I was told my alignment was fine but I needed different tires. The tires on that van were practically new, but I asked the man what he would recommend. He said Michelin. Well I thought it was worth a try, so I immediately bought a set of Michelins. I could barely belief the difference in handling and comfort I noticed immediately. I will never drive another brand of tire on any of my vehicles!!! As a side note, I have never had a flat in those 30+ years with Michelin. I have picked up several nails in the treads of tires, but they only developed a slow leak and I was able to make it to a tire shop for repair. Yea Michelin!!!! November 11, 2010
Rated 5 out of 5by The Best Tire I Have Owned We bought these tires to replace the dealer installed tires that were on our car, which were terribly noisy and traction was non existent. The Symentry tires we replaced those tires with are so quiet that we can now hear the radio, carry on a conversation, or talk on the phone without all the annoying noise. The ride of these tires are great, you don't feel all the bumps and cracks in the road as the other tires did. We have about 65000 miles on the tires now, and the ride is still great. There is a lot of tread left on the tires still. I think I can get at least another 30000 miles out of them. We went out and purchased another style of Michelin tires for our other vehicle, since these are working out so great. So far, the new tires on the other vehicle are working out just as good. I will definetly be buying Michelin tires whenever I need tires in the future. August 7, 2013
Rated 5 out of 5by confidence I have owned many brands of tires and have driven several hundred thousand miles over the streets and highways, having experianced a multitude of experiance of failures and manufactures defects with many tires. I have experianced many times when attempting to get corrections or adjustments from other manufactures or thier outlets for problems with thier products, insisting that the problem was mechanical, or not warranteed. Condesending and rude and false statments in attempts not to honor a warantee, or guarntee, just plain attempting to make work for thier shops. Then I purshased my first set of Michelin Tires, Suprisingly that car who thy said needed struts and alignment, was suddenly driving and riding like a new car again, and without thier suggested repairs. I had gotten a second opinion from a source I trusted, that mechanic told me it's the tires as I had suspected. He recommended Michelin Tires (he was not a tire dealer) to correct the problem. I have purchased several sets of Michelin Tires since that time and have enjoyed the performance, road handling, dealer services, and Confidence in Michelin Tires. BODO August 18, 2013
Rated 5 out of 5by The Rest of the Michelin Tire Story Thank you for the opportunity to give your company feedback. I have Michelin tires on my car and the truck; however, this isn't anything new, I have bought Michelin Tires for over 20 years. The last set of 80,000 mile tires I purchased, I ran them 90,000 miles. Several winters ago, my husband was doing building inspections and asked to borrow my car. There was about 8" of snow on the ground, so I said sure. He took my car to Yancey county (up in the direction of Mt. Mitchell). There was 12" of snow there. He made it up the mountain and did not slip one time. He was he was worried about his decent, but he came down that steep road and did not slip or slide one time. He said he would never worry about my 50 mile commute each day driving to work. Thank you Michelin for making such good tires. They have never left me on the side of the road. August 10, 2013
Rated 4 out of 5by Product is reliable. After purchasing the tires, the air kept leaking out. I had to put air in tires often. When I had dealership to inspect tires they said they could not find any problems with the tires. March 16, 2014
Rated 4 out of 5by The namre is BACK!! I have always heard good things about Michelin tires during my 50 years of driving , however I experienced a few years of really bad tires going back a few years. I had a hard time getting any help from Michelin after my tires wore out in only 16k miles of normal driving on a passenger family vehicle. Once I researched the tires online I called back and told the company that I was not the only one with problems and by not admitting a fault , they would have a hard time correcting it. I knew this as a waste elimination expert at Ford. I suspect changes were made in both the product and the feedback because now it seems as though the quality is back. I have a Lincoln and old timers in particular want to see Michelins on the car. The last four sets I bought are very good handling quiet tires. September 4, 2013
Rated 5 out of 5by Lasted longer than predicted There were the original tires on my 99 subaru outback. They made it to 98k miles. At that time I switched to michelin hydroedges which were rated for 90k miles. They only made it to 50k. I'd switch back if they're still available when I go back for tires this time. March 4, 2014
